Confidentiality

Confidentiality is an essential component of any Counselling relationship.  
​As an accredited member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy, I abide by and adhere to the ethical guidelines laid down by the BACP.

CBT  (Cognitive Behavioural Therapy)

Cognitive Behavioural Therapy helps you to make sense of the cognitive patterns, processes and behaviours that contribute to your psychological distress. CBT is particularly effective for anxiety, depression, phobias, addiction, compulsive behaviour and stress-related disorders.

EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing)

  • Initial consultation: Understanding your history and the nature of your trauma.

  • Bilateral Stimulation: Use of guided eye movements or other bilateral stimulation to process and integrate traumatic memories.

Fees and terms
  • Initial consultations are up to 1 hour in duration and subsequent appointments are 50 minutes. 
  • Talking therapy session fee is £70 .
  • EMDR  sessions range between 60 and 90 minutes and fee is £70 to £90 (time dependant).
  • I accept cash, bank transfer or cheque as payment.

Cancellation policy

I require a minimum of 24 hours notice if you are unable to come to the session or the full fee for the session will be payable. 

You will not be expected to pay if I cancel the session.
